Kungsholmen, Stockholm hackerspace

For Hackers, By Hackers.

A community of curious people in Stockholm who like to make things, break things, and figure out how things work. We’re engineers, artists, security researchers, radio operators, sewers, and more - united by the belief that access to tools and knowledge should be shared.

A real space, opening soon. 150m² on Sankteriksgatan, Kungsholmen. NFC access, 3D printers, CNC, laser cutters, soldering stations, a shared file server, and a whole lot of tea. See the plan →

How we operate
#

Be excellent to each other is our guiding principle. Wikipedia uses a similar rule, which they call “the fundamental rule of all social spaces. Every other policy for getting along is a special case of it.” We take the same positive approach, and avoid officially enumerating the myriad potential special cases — “be excellent” is enough. The specifics live in our Code of Conduct if you want them.
Doing excellent stuff here doesn’t require permission or an official consensus decision. If you’re uncertain about the excellence of something you want to do, ask someone else what they think.

We’re raising funds for the lease deposit, fit-out, and initial equipment. Every membership and donation counts toward this goal.
