Who we are
#

Hackerspace Stockholm is a fun space for sharing, creation, collaboration, research, development, mentoring, and of course, learning. Come visit, work, and use our equipment! (but please donate when you can!) It’s part of the hackerspaces movement extending around the world!

We’re in the process of establishing a physical hackerspace on Sankteriksgatan, Kungsholmen: 150m² of shared workshop, electronics bench, fabrication equipment, and desk space. Until then we meet regularly, collaborate online, and build things together.

The space and everything in it is run by its members. No corporate overlords. No gatekeeping. If you want to learn something, someone here probably knows how.

500 kr/month gets you full space access, shared machines, and storage - or try a single workshop or open event for a flat 100 kr. There’s also a limited Founders spot at 5 000 kr/year for the people making this happen from day one.

Every krona goes directly into the space: hardware, rent, consumables, or coffee. One-off or recurring, whatever you can spare. Include your name and email if you want a reward - otherwise your donation is anonymous by default.

What sponsorship is - and isn’t
#

We’re a community, not an agency. Sponsorship funds the space - it doesn’t buy influence over it. These rules protect our members, our independence, and ultimately the value that makes sponsoring us worthwhile in the first place.

  • Use “Sponsor of Stockholm Hackerspace” in your own marketing materials
  • Have your logo displayed on our website and in the space
  • Attend sponsored events and co-branded workshops
  • Get a receipt / underlag for your accounting
  • Suggest equipment or project ideas (we decide what we build)

With agreement:

  • Rent the space
  • Book the space for meetings or get-togethers
  • Donate equipment
  • Influence editorial, technical, or community decisions
  • Require us to endorse your products or services
  • Access member-only areas, systems, or communications
  • Place restrictions on what members can build or discuss
  • Use the space or our member list for sales or recruitment without a separate hire agreement
  • Sub-contract or white-label the sponsorship to a third party

We reserve the right to decline, pause, or return a sponsorship at any time if we believe it conflicts with our values or community wellbeing, without owing a reason. Likewise, sponsors may cancel any time with 30 days notice; prepaid amounts for the notice period are non-refundable. These terms exist to keep the space genuinely independent.
